The objective of the mixed methods includes triangulation, complementarity, development, initiation, and expansion. Triangulation seeks to converge data collected through various method-survey, interview, and experiment. It enhances the credibility of the research findings. Complementarity seeks to provide a full understanding of the research problem, cross-validate and juxtaposes the findings. Development enhances the chances of testing and verifying hypotheses or research propositions. It develops a synergistic effect on the research results. Initiation can easily unearth contradiction in research results. The expansion extends the breadth and range of the inquiry and makes it easier for researchers to modify the research outcomes.
